Small towns in East-Europe have very strong subculture. In Estonia one of these subcultures is called ossikultuur/ossid. In its essence are fast cars (mostly BMW E30 or E34) and drifting. Mostly young boys that have built a community which allows them to feel togetherness, belonging, friendship, and power. With aggression, fast cars, specific style, unique mannerisms in body language, hot babes on the side seat, although questionable in morals and values, these boys have built something that is a cultural phenomenon already for decades.
Drifting as a performance, a collective effort to entertain, a form of bonding and fighting against the oppressive system.

Flora
Blossom scent, tangled leaves. Flowers whispering me to soften, so I soften. Especially on those early summer mornings when I walk home from work, blossom scent travelling with warm breeze. What calms me down is the knowing that I will be asleep in no time, and when I wake up, all I remember from last night is the scent of flowers.

Alice
There’s a character named Alice. Perfect, flawless, getting everything she wants. Appearing only when the sun sets, Alice is a generously built facade to prove that everything is possible. She’s a lovedoll, a body of ruins, a soul-less machine, fixated on agency, money and liberation, she falls and loves. Everything she touches turns into gold. Only when the sun sets.

Red Lights Project
I started noticing red lights in arbitrary social environments, leaving hints of Red Lights District out of the tabu spaces. Making workers think of work, and others walk just by without realising there’s a whole hidden world behind these hints.

Pagans
My roots are deep, tangled. To move like nature, is to move like i’m meant to. The colours, patterns, textures, shapes, sounds; all that show me what life is really about.
I pick a branch, and put it in water. Growing green young leaves that show me what life is really about.
I collect a herb, and pour boiling water on it, knowing exactly what it heals in me, and what it cannot heal.
Only in Estonian forest I can see and know what life is really about.
